Hilux - The Visitor

 

Dad loves Hilux. Dad leaves Hilux behind. Dad’s ghost comes back for Hilux. It’s a tale as old as time.

Ok not really. But unlike other vehicles that waver in popularity, the Hilux remains as loved today as the moment it made its way onto Australian shores over 50 years ago. It’s a pride that never dies.  

This insight became the springboard for our campaign. We wanted to tell a story that honoured the emotional connection between Hilux and driver. But we knew our audience wouldn’t resonate with an expected love story. It needed to have a twist, a cheeky comedic ending, and most of all – cut through.
